Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support our property’s operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate comprehensive expertise in mechanical, electrical, and technical troubleshooting, as well as strong capabilities in structural repairs, plumbing, roofing, painting, and woodwork. This role requires working at heights, performing physically demanding tasks, and maintaining clear, open lines of communication for emergencies.

- MUST HAVE ATLEAST 2 YEARS OF PROVEN MAINTINACE EXPERIENCE AT A MOTEL, APARTMENT COMPLEX OR AT A HOUSING SOCIETY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and technical systems—including Wi-Fi networks, security cameras, and other electronic equipment.
• Conduct structural repairs and general building maintenance, including door lock servicing and quality control measures.
• Execute plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks.
• Perform roofing repairs and periodic inspections.
• Complete painting projects and cosmetic enhancements to maintain a high standard of property appearance.
• Oversee pool maintenance and perform minor carpentry or woodwork projects as needed.
• Manage deliveries and supply logistics efficiently.
• Maintain clear and immediate communication channels for emergency situations.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A.

Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrated proficiency in property maintenance, with strong skills in mechanical, electrical, and technical systems.
• Solid experience in structural repairs, plumbing, roofing, painting, and woodwork.
• Must be comfortable working at heights.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly for managing emergency situations; proficiency in English is required, and being bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Reliable transportation is required; a personal truck is preferred given the physical demands and delivery requirements of the role. However, candidates with other types of reliable vehicles are welcome to apply (bicycles/motorcycles/EV Scooters are not acceptable).
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be physically capable of handling the job’s demands.
• Relevant technical certifications or equivalent experience are highly desirable.

Additional Information:

• Gas compensation will be provided.
• This is a physically demanding position requiring stamina and the ability to work independently under pressure.

Work Hours:

• Regular hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• After 5:00 PM, you will be on call exclusively for emergency situations.
• Must be available via a dedicated 24/7 contact number to handle after-hours emergencies.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
