What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant General Manager position at Motel 6?
Looking for a customer service friendly individual with the ability to multi-task. industry and as, well as prior AGM or front desk supervisor experience. Must have the ability to work weekends, holidays.
You will be assisting the GM with daily task which include:
- Leads and manages the entire Hotel
- Accounting and reporting
- Staff needs and schedules
- Owns any guest requests and problems and satisfies their needs within acceptable guideline
- Property upkeep and safety guidelines
- Ensuring brand standards are maintained at all times.
- Ensures employees are trained on both procedures, processes, technology
Must work at least two desk shifts a week. More if staffing needs are not met, but the ability to be flexible and cover as needed.
Be on call in case GM is unavailable to handle any needs with the property.
Familiarity with the following:
- Hotelkey PMS (a plus but not required)
- Ability to making schedules
- Supervising a team of 6 or more
- Working with co-workers and boosting team morale
- Ability to train others
- Ability to be a supervisor but also a team player
