Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily store operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
• Oversee cash register operations, including transactions and cash handling procedures.
• Support team management by training new employees, conducting employee orientation, and fostering a positive work culture.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop training programs that enhance employee skills and performance.
• Drive sales initiatives through effective merchandising strategies and promotional activities.
• Negotiate with vendors to secure competitive pricing on products.
• Maintain inventory levels and assist in stock management to ensure product availability.
• Utilize multilingual skills to communicate effectively with diverse customers.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail management or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively.
• Proficiency in cash register operations and basic financial transactions.
• Experience in wireless sales is a plus.
• Ability to sell products confidently while understanding customer needs.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual abilities are an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and suppliers.
