Cashier

At Mother Clucker, our goal is to serve up incredible Nashville hot chicken with a side of Southern hospitality. As a cashier, you are the face of our restaurant, creating a welcoming and efficient experience for every guest. You will deliver beer and drinks to our guests by being efficient, confident, personable, and an expert on all things beverage. Must be 21 years or older. Hourly plus tips.

Your primary objective is to WOW our guests with friendly, responsive service so they keep coming back for more.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Welcome & Greet Guests: Make every guest feel valued and appreciated from the moment they walk in.

• Take Orders & Make Recommendations: Guide guests through the menu, answer questions, and suggest items they’ll love.

• Process Transactions Accurately: Handle cash, credit card payments, and loyalty program redemptions with efficiency and 100% accuracy.

• Maintain Speed & Accuracy: Ensure orders are entered correctly into the POS system and communicate clearly with the kitchen.

• Assist with Food & Drink Delivery: Call out guest names and deliver food to tables.

• Check on Guests & Bussing: Engage with guests at tables to ensure they’re happy with their meal and assist with clearing tables as needed.

• Maintain a Clean & Organized Front Counter: Keep your workspace, drink stations, and dining area clean and stocked.

• Support the Team: Be ready to jump in wherever needed to keep things running smoothly.

• Follow All Safety & Sanitation Guidelines: Ensure all health and food safety standards are met.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong communication skills and a welcoming personality.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic math skills and experience handling cash or operating a POS system.

• Able to stand for long periods (up to 8 hours) and lift up to 30 lbs.

• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
