Looking for fun, outgoing and energetic team players to work at our busy gift, candy and fudge shop in Goldfield Ghost Town. Our current staff consists of professional, diligent, hard-working people who enjoy working here and who are also, very much appreciated! While we do work hard, we have a fun time doing so.
Applicant must have prior retail experience to include working a cash register, stocking product, and also possess good customer service skills. Regular store hours are from 10 - 5 daily, however closing times may be later during season. Looking for people who can work full day and 1/2 day shifts, and be available to work weekends, weekdays and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Retail Sales Associates team to provide excellent customer service
- Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services and the Ghost Town in general
- Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
- Stay up-to-date with new products while keeping back stock levels adequate
- Ensure racks are fully stocked and new orders received and processed
- Agreeable to learn all areas of our operations to include making fudge
- Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
- Hire, train, supervise and mentor our team of Associates
Skills
- Three years work experience as a Retail Sales Representative with Keyholder or Management experience a must
- Understanding of the retail sales process and firm grasp of running a manual cash register, proficient with cash handling, and understanding balancing of daily settlements
- Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
- Computer skills to include Excel, Word, and basic file management. Knowledge of database programs or Access would be a plus
- Ability to perform and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with customers and employees alike
- Will possess strong follow through skills and work with little to no supervision
