The Maintenance and Facility Logistics Coordinator reports directly to the Vice President and is a key member of the leadership team. This role ensures efficient facility operations, equipment maintenance, and seamless logistics management to maintain our high-quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities
Facility Management & Maintenance
- Oversee all facility operations, ensuring the upkeep of the warehouse, refrigeration units, and overall infrastructure.
- Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program for equipment and facility systems.
- Maintain detailed logs of maintenance records, repairs, and equipment servicing.
- Identify and resolve facility and equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Source and order parts for repairs and replacements, ensuring all equipment remains in optimal working condition.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for facility repairs, maintenance, and upgrades; obtain quotes and present options to leadership for approval.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all facility-related tasks.
Logistics, Shipping & Receiving
- Oversee the movement of products and inventory, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective transportation.
- Manage loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring accurate tracking of incoming and outgoing inventory.
Ensure ingredients and finished products are transported efficiently from offsite locations.
- Implement inventory organization strategies, including FIFO (First In, First Out) for ingredient management.
- Maintain and schedule repairs for company vehicles (delivery trucks, forklifts) to ensure safe operation.
- Assist with picking up supplies and delivering products as needed to support production schedules.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align facility and logistics operations withcompany goals.
- Serve as an ambassador for company policies and culture, promoting clear and positive communication across departments.
- Contribute to budget planning and cost analysis for facility-related expenses.
- Support the Senior Production and Packaging Manager in achieving daily and weekly production goals.
- Act as a role model for professionalism and effective problem-solving, fostering a positive, supportive work environment.

Other than a small percentage of sales from our manufacturing facility in Yucaipa, CA, we have a very loyal following of people who travel to our facility to buy our granola retail direct from us. For convenience, we decided to make our granola available to everyone online in 2 pound packages.
