Position Summary:
We're looking for a dedicated Distribution Manager to oversee the upkeep of our facilities and ensure our resources reach those who need them most. This role is vital in making sure our operations are smooth and effective, helping us fulfill our mission of serving the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilities Management: Assist the Mercy House team in keeping our facilities and equipment clean, safe, and in good repair.
Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels, maintain accurate records, and ensure the timely and efficient distribution of resources.
Donations Coordination: Work with donors, food banks, and vendors to procure necessary supplies and services.
Team Supervision: Lead and train staff and volunteers in distribution and facilities maintenance tasks.
Report Preparation: Prepare and present reports on facilities and distribution activities to senior management.
Qualifications:
A genuine passion and desire to serve the needy and support the mission of Mother of Mercy House
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
Proficiency in Spanish and English
Experience in distribution, inventory management, or related fields is preferred.
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Valid Driver’s License
Ability to sit, stand, bend lift and move intermittently during scheduled work hours
Ability to lift, push, pull and move equipment, supplies, etc. up to 50 lbs.
Salary : $18 - $24
