17.28- $20.00 Hourly
Under the Food Service Manager supervision, the DISHWASHER performs the following duties :
TYPICAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organize, clean and store dishes, silverware, glasses and all cooking apparatus used in food service departments
- Ensure specified water temperatures are used
- Ensure cleanliness and health code standards compliance
- Monitor products used to clean utensils and equipment and replenishes when necessary
- Organize storage shelves and maintain proper inventory of equipment and supplies
- Record breakage and losses of utensils and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of dish washing area including floors, counters and walls
- Remove waste from collected bus tubs
- Stock produce for kitchen walk-in and rotate as needed
- Stock dry goods into kitchen storage areas
- Maintain cleanliness and organize walk-in
- Ensure safety of work area by removing debris and hazards
- Assist in training for new dishwashers as needed
- Keep work area clean and safe
- Interact with co-workers in a friendly productive manner
- Empty trash in work areas and transfer to dumpsters
