The Role:
As the Concession Stands Manager, you will oversee day-to-day event operations, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and adherence to Mothership’s hospitality standards. Champion excellence, delivering joyful and memorable guest experiences. Conduct food safety audits, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure product quality both during events and in off-season café environments. Transition to an Operations Manager role during non-event periods, supporting café management, optimizing workflows, and fostering interdepartmental collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all event operations management and concession stand activities during events, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
- Conduct regular food safety audits in both the concessions and café environments.
- Maintain precise inventory control and management, tracking product levels, and minimizing waste.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all food and beverage offerings meet Mothership Coffee’s quality standards and compliance. Guarantee adherence to SNHD, HACCP, and FSMA policies and local health regulations.
- Team Leadership: Train and mentor team members, fostering a high-performing, service-focused environment.
- Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve operational issues, keeping service smooth and customer satisfaction high.
- During non-event periods, assist and take charge in the cafés by conducting food safety audits, managing product inventory, and ensuring quality assurance of all products.
- Facilitate collaboration between departments to ensure smooth operations. Act as a reliever for café management and warehouse operations when no events are taking place, maintaining continuity and ensuring that teams feel supported.
- Prior experience in concessions or food and beverage management.
