Position Overview
Our client, a Global Financial Services company is seeking a detail oriented Benefits Specialist focused in the area of Benefits.
Responsibilities :
The Benefits Specialist will join our client and provide exceptional customer service and support to internal teams and external clients. They will play a vital role in the setup, maintenance, and management of client accounts for Health & Benefits (H&B) and COBRA services, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure timely and accurate setup and ongoing maintenance of client accounts, including all necessary documentation.
- Research and resolve product and service issues to meet client needs and support retention goals.
- Manage the accuracy of financial and insurance transactions for client accounts.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and internal partners.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, providing prompt and effective communication.
- Maintain accurate records of all communications and documentation to ensure compliance with state, federal, and insurance partner requirements.
- Utilize multiple software applications, including HRIS and ORS systems, to address client inquiries and manage data input.
- Participate in product-related projects and training to stay updated on industry developments and internal processes.
