What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tool Maintenance PM Tech position at Motherson DRSC Modules USA Inc.?
We are seeking a mechanically inclined employee who is good with trouble shooting issues, ability to take direction and autonomous.
- Operate various equipment, such as mills, grinders, lathes, drill presses.
- Weld and perform cavity polishing.
- Perform mold maintenance and works with minimal supervision.
- Handle Injection molds safety to assure no damage to personnel, equipment and tooling.
- Can foresee tooling problems and suggest solutions.
- Reports difficult maintenance situations and downtimes due to maintenance to direct executive verbally, through written reports, or memos depending on urgency.
- Review and respond to departmental maintenance requests and makes decisions and/or recommendations based on the priorities of the request.
Job Requirements
- Hight School Diploma
- Mechanically inclined and good with trouble shooting issues.
- Previous experience with Injection mold preventative maintenance preferable, but not required. We are willing to train our new associate.
- Able to operate various equipment, such as mills, grinders, lathes, drill presses.
- Able to work without supervision.
- Read and understands Blueprints and standards.
