General Purpose of the Job
Facilitate, administer, and maintain the business systems/software used by all Yachiyo facilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain business systems/software to achieve the needs of the company
Performing system administration/operations activity
System security, backups, usage monitoring, auditing, upgrades
Telecom systems setup and maintenance
- Help Desk activity
Log requests, communicate with IT staff and requestor.
Quickly troubleshoot and eliminate network, hardware, software, and/or telecom issues.
Provide timely professional customer and system support for end users.
- Assist in the selection, acquisition and installation of new/updated software and hardware.
Work with vendors to select ideal solution to fit the company’s needs.
Gather quotations and analyze products to make the best-informed decision.
Be able to compile information and present to management.
- Track, plan, and carry out procurement of IT hardware and software supplies or support renewals.
- Monitor and adhere to budgetary requirements in coordination with IT management.
- Maintain awareness of company and departmental business plan. Carry out relevant assigned tasks and/or assist in team assignments while adhering to planned or managerial revised deadlines.
- Follow and uphold compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Consistently work in a safe manner maintaining compliance with applicable state and federal safety and environmental policies.
- Other tasks as required by Management.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or university or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
