Key Responsibilities
- Identify and contract with global logistics partners for air, sea, road, and rail cargo.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and service agreements to ensure cost-effective and reliable transportation solutions.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely material readiness for shipment.
- Monitor and track material availability and coordinate logistics based on production schedules and delivery timelines.
- Oversee customs clearance processes for both imports and exports, ensuring all goods comply with the necessary customs regulations and trade laws.
- Manage documentation and liaise with customs agents and freight forwarders to avoid delays.
- Evaluate and select the most appropriate shipping modes based on cost, time, and reliability.
- Ensure that shipments meet delivery deadlines while optimizing costs.
- Prepare and manage all shipping documentation, including bills of lading, airway bills, packing lists, commercial invoices, certificates of origin, and any other required export/import documentation.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
- C Coordinate with internal teams and logistics providers to ensure a smooth and compliant delivery process.
- Track shipments from the point of dispatch to the final destination, ensuring timely and secure delivery.
- Address and resolve any issues related to delays, damages, or discrepancies in shipment.
