What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Coordinator position at Motif Events?
ACCOUNT MANAGER / COORDIANTOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
· Form a close partnership with the rest of Motif’s sales team to become engrained and 100% supportive of our clients and their show-by-show and cumulative program goals
· Review, Analyze and Recap Projects on a weekly basis while helping to move them through design, development, and delivery
· Maintain client show schedule while achieving project dates and benchmarks. Work proactively to anticipate and trouble shoot sticking points and potential issues
· Develop a relationship with client contact gaining knowledge of their branding, messaging, products/services, internal procedures. Genuinely care about our clients and their goals and success
· Help generate proposals and field services estimates
· Manage all production, show services and logistical details for assigned events and client accounts. Work with design, estimating, project management, and install teams to ensure expectations are communicated and exceeded.
· Review show kit for rules and regulations and assist our client with direct internet, electrical, material handling and rigging orders. Ensure all deadlines are met to avoid increased costs or rush charges.
· Communicate show specific information with I&D supervisor and labor teams
· Manage and track all show / client shipments to ensure timely delivery
· Review I&D post-show change order and reports; communicate any issues to the full team. Monitor show services costs and overall project budgets to ensure profit expectations are adhered to.
· Review actual invoices against proposed project costs to determine validity and cause of variances, and bill for approved changes orders while fighting for credits due
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
· 1-3 Years Account Management / Coordinator or relevant experience preferrered
· Excellent client service skills and the ability to grow relationships
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong listening and presentation skills
· Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
· Experience in Tradeshow, Event Management or Exhibit Design industry a plus but willing to train
