POSITION SUMMARY
As an inventory clerk, you will primarily be responsible for all things related to incoming inventory of electric motors and their parts. This includes intaking new motors, pulling loose parts for orders, putting parts away, and documenting locations in paperwork and on a phone application. This role will report to the Inventory Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Coordinate with the Inventory Manager daily for ongoing projects and initiatives.
- Confirm inventory data upon arrival.
- Physical inspection of incoming inventory
- Use custom-built applications through PowerApps and Azure to update locations and inventory items and take photos.
- Load and offload parts with forklift onto company trucks and put them in the proper locations.
- Communicate with other Romanoff Team Members to complete projects and give updates to the Inventory Manager.
- Special projects as designated by the Inventory Manager
- All other tasks as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to learn about electric motors and related equipment.
- Basic math skills must be able to interpret basic measurements.
- Moderate computer/phone skills preferred (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)
- A high school diploma/GED or certification from a vocational school is preferred.
- Operating forklifts (training provided)
- A valid driver's license is required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical requirements for this position are typical for a medium work warehouse environment, including frequent movement about the warehouse/office, climbing, standing, reaching, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting 50 pounds, operating a motor vehicle for short to extended periods of time.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment for this position is typical for a warehouse, including occasional exposure to loud noise and outside temperatures of heat/cold. The environment may occasionally include exposure to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, and working on scaffolding or high places. Furthermore, the work environment for this position also includes the constant requirement to operate a motor vehicle and occasional exposure to loud noise and outside temperatures of heat/cold. The environment may occasionally include exposure to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding / high places, and exposure to high heat or chemicals.
