What are the responsibilities and job description for the Motor Technician position at Motion & Control Enterprises?
POSITION SUMMARY
The Motor Technician troubleshoots, repair and test industrial motors, down to the component level using standard work instructions, manuals, personal tools and company tools and test equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Troubleshoot, repair and test assigned work ( AC, DC Motors)
- Submit purchase order requests for component parts
- Identify and record problems relating to the equipment, process, or quality
- Follow safety and quality procedures
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITY.
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical requirements for this position are typical for a medium work warehouse environment including frequent movement about the warehouse/office, climbing, standing, reaching, bending, kneeling, stooping and lifting 50 pounds.
