POSITION SUMMARY
The Service Technician is responsible for the service and support of all types of hydraulic components. Areas of service and support include, but are not limited to, pumps, motors, valves, application, troubleshooting, performance evaluation, and service maintenance. This position is also required to perform miscellaneous shop/warehouse duties on an as needed basis. The successful candidate will excel in the ability to breakdown, evaluate and provide technical solutions in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Provides technical support and repairs of hydraulic components
- Disassembly, diagnosis, and repair of hydraulic and related components and assemblies.
- Responsible for manufacturing, reworking/machining and installing components and assemblies related repairs
- Responsible for assisting with the testing of units.
- Paint with industrial coatings.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Completes all necessary paperwork, including teardown sheets, service orders, and company forms
- Exhibits professional appearance and conduct and provides excellent customer service
- Ability to build trust quickly; interacts and communicates well with coworkers and customers(as required)
- Follows all safety procedures, environmental guidelines, and company rules and regulations
- Performs other related duties as assigned
