Required Skills & Experience
- Application secure code engineer with 3 years of experience, who has strong communication skills, and can identify and self-manage complex issues and negotiate solutions within a geographically dispersed organization.
- The secure code engineer needs to have the following qualifications:
- Experience with DAST/SAST/SCA (Blackduck) scanning.
- Experience in security consulting on complex issues related to data access, integrity, confidentiality and business continuity.
- Technical experience working with development teams on defect remediation.
- Application security experience with banking/financial services applications.
- Hands-on experience with application security coding.
- Knowledge or experience with bug bars.
- Secure SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) methodologies experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of threat analysis and assessment of potential and current information security risk/threats.
What You Will Be Doing
- Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables.
- Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.
