Job Description This client leading manufacturer of Optometry and Ophthalmology Medical Device, Pharmaceutical Products, and Innovations in the Eye Care industry. Their R&D Product Security group is based in Orange County, CA and they are looking to expand their team focused around their Surgical Device Products. They are building out their Product Security Engineering Team focused on the Embedded Software on their Surgical Devices and how it connects with their Cloud Based Digital Applications. They are brining on a Application Security Engineer to join this team, ideal candidate will have a traditional CS Background or understanding of OO Programming with Java or C# Preferred, experience with SAST and DAST application security testing, Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelors in Computer Science
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in application security testing, with a focus on SAST, DAST, and SBOM analysis.
- At least 3 years of experience in software development or practical automation using Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
- Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or others.
- Experience with security tools such as Fortify, AppScan, Black Duck, Veracode, or similar
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., FDA, IMDRF, HIPAA, HITRUST, IEC 62443).
- CEH, OSCP,
- Med Device Experience
- CISSP
- OWASP
