An NSF-funded healthcare startup company is actively seeking a dynamic DevOps/ SRE Engineer to join their growing team. The company is located in the Chicago area but is a full-time remote opportunity.

- 5 years of DevOps Engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of AWS services
- Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Hands-on experience with ELK Stack, Sentry, or Datadog.
- Proficient in Python or Bash scripting for automation.
- Experience in CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or any other tools.
- Strong containerization skills with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes or Helm.
- Basic SQL knowledge for managing and optimizing queries.
- Experience with VPC
- Networking knowledge specifically with ELB and Route 53
- Own the entire AWS infrastructure using Terraform
- Build multi-environment CI/CD pipelines
- Implement GitOps practices and container strategies
- Lead infrastructure security and scalability initiatives
