We are working with a client to help the identify a Manager of Identity and Access Management for a role based out of their Minneapolis, MN office. This is a role that will manage people but will also have a major focus on hands-on IAM engineering work. This is a perfect role for a current manager who is looking to take on a new role with a new team or an architect looking to move to a people management role.
This role will be focused primarily on administering their Azure Entra IAM platform, any previous experience with this tool and Azure Cloud will be beneficial. Previous experience with other IAM tools such as Okta or Sailpoint will be a big plus as well.

Key Responsibilities:
- IAM Strategy & Governance: Develop, implement, and manage the IAM strategy to ensure secure access to all applications, systems, and resources, primarily leveraging Microsoft Azure AD (Active Directory).
- Identity Lifecycle Management: Oversee the creation, maintenance, and deactivation of user accounts, roles, and permissions, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Access Control Management: Manage role-based access control (RBAC) policies and enforce the principle of least privilege, ensuring secure, seamless access to systems and applications.
- Security & Compliance: Continuously monitor IAM systems and processes to ensure they meet regulatory compliance standards, auditing requirements, and internal security policies.
- Azure Entra Administration: Administer and optimize Azure Entra, including user provisioning, single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), conditional access policies, and integrations with other SaaS solutions.
- 5-10 years of experience with IAM. At least 1-2 years of experience with Azure Entra specifically
- Experience with Azure Cloud suite (i.e Defender, InTune)
- 1-2 years people management experience
- General Information Security experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher
