They are looking for a Junior-Mid Level Java Developer who is eager to grow their skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You'll work alongside experienced engineers to develop and maintain microservice-based applications that support our core platforms. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with modern Java development (Java 18 ), Spring frameworks, and cloud technologies like AWS, and is excited to contribute to real-world, scalable systems. Required Skills & Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in Java development, ideally with a focus on microservices
• Proficiency with Java 18 , Spring Boot, and Spring MVC
• Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-native application deployment
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
• Exposure to Eclipse SWT is a plus
• Comfort working with IDEs like IntelliJ and Eclipse
• Knowledge of Apache Tomcat for application hosting and deployment is a bonus
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn and grow in a team environment

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience working in Agile or Scrum teams
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of RESTful API design

• 75% new development
• 25% maintaince and enhancements

Daily Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of Java-based microservices
• Collaborate with senior developers to implement new features and troubleshoot production issues
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Java 18
• Contribute to the deployment and monitoring of applications within AWS environments
• Work with PostgreSQL databases for data storage and retrieval
• Support legacy UI components built using Eclipse SWT
• Use development tools such as IntelliJ IDEA and Eclipse for daily workflows
• Deploy and manage services using Apache Tomcat where needed

• Richardson, TX
• Hybrid (2-3 days onsite)
