The client for this role is a leader in fleet management solutions, as well as supply chain management and logistics. They are looking for a Technical Writer to join their team on a long term contract to potential hire opportunity.
In this position as a Technical Writer you will be responsible for creating, maintaining and populating all application solutions for the business. In addition, you will work closely with IT, Security, Platform Engineering and leadership to ensure there are no risks while streamlining remediation efforts. They are looking for a highly detailed technical writer that will leverage experience and relationships to document both enterprise as well as citizen developed technology process and flows.
This is a remote long term contract to potential hire opportunity with EST working hours.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or IT
- 5 years or more of technical communication experience, with a specific focus in software / application documentation to include : writing, editing, finalizing, and / or publishing a wide range of internal and client-facing documents (user guides, programmer’s references, training plans, etc.), and designing training presentations, infographics, instructional diagrams, etc.
- Strong training / instructional design skill
- Experience developing / implementing documentation processes and standards
- Strong software skills, including expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
