This company is seeking a Network Infrastructure Engineer with a strong background in infrastructure and network architecture design to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, deploying, and maintaining the foundational infrastructure that supports our AI-driven platform. Working closely with our engineering and product teams, you'll oversee the deployment of physical infrastructure at our data center, ensuring systems are scalable, secure, and highly reliable. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the performance and efficiency of our platform, enabling us to deliver innovative, large-scale solutions.

The company is located in Ashburn, VA and will be a hybrid model.

What You Will Be Doing:
Infrastructure Design & Deployment

• Lead the design, setup, and deployment of network and server infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, and enterprise applications.
• Configure virtualized environments and troubleshoot issues related to system performance and application functionality.
• Ensure all infrastructure solutions align with business goals for scalability, reliability, and security.

System Maintenance & Operations

• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on servers, networks, and core infrastructure to ensure high availability.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues efficiently.

Network Management

• Manage configuration of network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Monitor system performance and proactively implement improvements to support scalability, security, and uptime.
• Work closely with development and operations teams to incorporate DevOps practices and ensure secure, compliant environments.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Demonstrated expertise in designing and maintaining network infrastructure and physical hardware.
• In-depth knowledge of routers, switches, and configuring connectivity between servers.
• Strong command of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or comparable technologies.
• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure), particularly in areas of networking, security, and automation.
• Skilled in containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Proficient with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on performance tuning and infrastructure automation.
