As a seasoned Principal Embedded Architect/Controls Engineer, you will lead their equipment software controls engineering team, comprising over 12 talented professionals. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the design, development, and optimization of complex motion control subsystems, focusing on multi-axis motion controllers within a deterministic real-time C environment.

Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in embedded software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership/mentorship role.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in real-time C programming and multi-axis motion control systems.
- Architectural Skills: Proven track record in designing scalable and robust software architectures for embedded systems.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with additive manufacturing technologies and laser-based systems is highly desirable.
