This company in the semiconductor manufacturing space is looking for a Principal MMIC Design Engineer. They design and engineer RF, Microwave, Analog, Mixed signal, and Optical semiconductor technologies for industries such as telecommunications, industrial, defense, aerospace, automotive, and more. This is a full-time, on-site role of 5 days/week in their office in the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area.
You would be joining a cross-functional team focused on designing world-class MMICs using GaN on silicon carbide technology. You would be working alongside 5-7 other Design Engineers within a larger group of 20-30 people.

Required Skills & Experience
- Master's degree and/or PhD in a relevant field
- 8 YOE as a Design Engineer
- Experience designing RF/Microwave products
- Understanding of thermal analysis methods
- Knowledge of MMIC design techniques
What You Will Be Doing
- Designing GaN MMIC and RF products
- Create physical prototypes for new producs
- Work with members of cross functional teams to ensure collaboration
- Stay up to date with industry trends and new technology
- Modify and ideate on designs based on feedback
