A leading supplier of high quality industrial fire pits, specialization in custom metal fabrication is looking for a Product Manager to drive the development and execution of their product line in their HQ located in the southwest suburbs of Chicago.
As a Product Manager, you will own the entire lifecycle of our fire pit products-from ideation through design, fabrication, and market launch. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, sales, and marketing, to define and execute the product roadmap. This role requires a deep understanding of metal fabrication, manufacturing processes, and customer needs to ensure our fire pits remain innovative, durable, and market-leading.
Required Skills & Experience
3-7 years of experience in product management, preferably in metal fabrication, industrial design, or a related manufacturing field.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, metalworking, and materials (e.g., steel, aluminum, cast iron).
Experience working with CAD software and technical drawings is a plus.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive product development from concept to market.
Strong project management skills with experience managing budgets, timelines, and resources.
Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts into business insights.
Passion for craftsmanship, industrial design, and outdoor living products is a plus.
