Senior DevOps Engineer / Midtown, GA / Hybrid

A company that creates medical devices for people who suffer with chronic illnesses, is performing a very important project. They are looking to bring on a Senior DevOps engineer to help streamline and successfully deploy their embedded software to the medical devices. This is a 3-month contract position, and you will go into the Atlanta office when needed.

Your responsibility includes building out CI/CD pipelines to allow software to be deployed correctly and efficiently, containerizing and automating the AWS infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform, and help to monitor the environment to ensure for a healthy system. Apply now!

Required Skills & Experience

• BS degree in CS, Engineering, or related field
• 5 years in a DevOps role with background experience in the Linux environment
• Knowledge of IaC, utilizing Terraform
• CI/CD pipeline tool usage: Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI
• Proven experience of environment containerization with Docker/Kubernetes
• 5 years of embedded software experience

Desired Skills & Experience

• DevOps Certifications (RedHat Certified Engineer, AWS Certified Engineer, etc.)
• Local to Atlanta, can commute when needed to ATL office
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Understanding of networking and security practice
• Works well on a team setting and can collaborate effectively
