Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer | Boston

Our client is seeking a talented Embedded Firmware Engineer in Boston. In this role, you will design, develop, and test embedded firmware for cutting-edge products. You will work closely with hardware and software teams to ensure high-quality performance, scalability, and reliability of embedded systems. Ideal candidates will have experience in embedded development, microcontroller programming, and a strong understanding of real-time operating systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain embedded firmware for microcontrollers and embedded systems.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration between firmware and hardware.
• Debug and troubleshoot hardware/software issues to ensure system functionality.
• Optimize firmware performance for power, memory, and processing constraints.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in embedded systems development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in embedded firmware development with C/C .
• Strong knowledge of microcontrollers, real-time operating systems, and hardware/software interfaces.
• Experience with debugging tools and software version control systems (Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with wireless communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee).
• Experience with low-level hardware interfacing.
