We are currently working with a leading partner in Sustainability and Efficiency in the Energy, Automation, and Digitization industry. Their goal is to utilize energy and power to his highest level while still having a major focus on environmental sustainability. They have over 1 million official partners and offer full end to end industrial solutions with high powered AI integrations.
They are looking for a Senior/Lead Data Engineer to join their team for a long term contract with a chance of full time conversion. For this role you would be collaborating with cross functional teams to design and implement highly scalable Azure data solutions, as well as developing and maintaining their major data lake.
This role will be a long term contract role with a chance of Full Time conversion at completion of the contract. The role will require 2 days/week onsite in their Andover, MA, office but will be remote the rest of the week.

Required Skills & Experience:
- 8 years of experience in data engineering or a related field
- Proficiency in Python with strong experience in building scalable applications and data workflows.
- Strong experience working with Azure for your cloud data platform
- Comfortable working with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, Airflow
- Hands-on experience enhancing and maintaining data architecture
- Experience using APIs for data integrations
- Experience with CI/CD concepts
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building efficient, maintainable solutions.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and solve undefined problems
- Exposure to service oriented architecture
