Senior Network Architect

This global construction manufacturing company produces and recycles steel products for infrastructure and commercial projects. They're currently seeking a Network Architect to join their network engineering team.

This role is ideal for a Cisco-focused network engineer with strong experience in architecture and design within an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on expertise with technologies including Cisco Nexus, Meraki, Checkpoint, F5, Cloudflare, and ISE. Experience with Zscaler or Zero Trust networking is a plus.

You'll work closely with cross-functional IT teams-such as operations, OT, and security-to identify and implement network improvements. Responsibilities also include keeping documentation up to date and mentoring junior network engineers

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in network architecture and design, ideally in an enterprise setting
• Solid understanding of network security principles; experience with Zscaler or Zero Trust is a plus
• Familiarity with Cisco ISE components
• Strong collaboration skills-regular interaction with operations, security, and cloud teams
• Ability to take ownership of projects and provide mentorship to junior team members
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong documentation abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE are highly valued

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $140,000-$150,000 bonus potential
