Senior SOC Engineer (Tier 3)
We are looking for a Senior SOC Engineer with 5 years of experience to join a dynamic security operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing complex security incidents, tuning SIEM alerts, and driving initiatives to enhance the overall security posture.
This position is hybrid in NYC - 3 days a week Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Senior SOC Engineer with 5 years of experience to join a dynamic security operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing complex security incidents, tuning SIEM alerts, and driving initiatives to enhance the overall security posture.
This position is hybrid in NYC - 3 days a week Key Responsibilities:
- Incident Response & Security Monitoring: Triage and respond to security incidents, manage and close ~50 tickets daily.
- SIEM Tuning: Tune Splunk SIEM and alerts to separate signals from noise and ensure accurate threat detection.
- Automation & Scripting: Use scripting skills (Python, BASH, etc.) for automation and process improvement, with a focus on increasing team efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work alongside the platform team to analyze security logic, identify issues, and provide clear, actionable solutions.
- Proactive Leadership: Take initiative in driving security enhancements and process improvements.
- 3-5 years of experience in a SOC or Security Operations role.
- Experience with Splunk SIEM and Crowdstrike EDR.
- Familiarity with Palo Alto security stack (XSOAR, etc.) and Darktrace.
- Strong understanding of security concepts and mindset to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages are a plus.
