ServiceNow Developer

Job Title: ServiceNow Developer (Contract to Hire)
Type: Contract to Hire (ideally would like to convert at 6 months)
Location: Carlisle, PA 17013
Work Schedule: Mon. - Fri. 8:00 am - 5:00 pm ET. Hybrid (initial training will be all onsite 5 days a week but will be open to 3 days onsite / 2 days remote after training)
Pay Rate: $67/hr on W2 - No C2C

Job Summary
We are looking for an accomplished ServiceNow Developer with 5 or more years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities and be able to create custom applications, workflows, and integrations to enhance our business processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into ServiceNow solutions.
• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications and modules, including custom scripting and integrations.
• Maintain and enhance existing ServiceNow applications and modules to meet changing business needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the ServiceNow platform, including performance optimization.
• Stay up-to-date with ServiceNow best practices and new features to ensure the platform's effective use.
• Participate in planning and executing ServiceNow upgrades and improvements.
• Document development processes, configurations, and customizations.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Customer service focused
• Ability to provide detailed notes on issues that arise
• Ability to create and maintain process documentation
• Ability to manage time, plan, organize and coordinate work assignments

Education and Experience:

• 5 or more years as a ServiceNow Developer, with a record of successful project implementations.
• Expertise in ServiceNow development, including UI policies, business rules, client scripts, and workflows.
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, and other technologies.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, and scripting in ServiceNow.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist or similar certification is a plus.
