Test Architect

They are looking for a Test Architect to spearhead the development of an automation framework from the ground up. This role is perfect for an experienced professional who thrives in both hands-on automation development and strategic process improvement. You will play a key role in defining testing strategies, ensuring software quality, and collaborating with engineering teams to enhance our automation capabilities. This is a full-time opportunity hybrid in New Castle, DE.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong background in test automation and quality assurance.
• Experience with modern automation frameworks and tools for API and UI testing.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar.
• Experience working with cloud-based testing environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Prior experience with instrumentation, IoT, or embedded systems is a plus.

What You Will Be Doing

• Designing and implementing a scalable automation framework for API and front-end testing (React-based UI).
• Developing and executing automated test scripts to ensure software reliability and performance.
• Integrating automation into agile development cycles and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborating closely with software engineers and product managers to establish best practices for test automation.
• Driving process improvements and advocate for automation strategies to enhance development efficiency.
• Troubleshooting and resolving automation challenges, ensuring robust test coverage.
