This is an exciting opportunity to join our client, a leading American electric vehicle manufacturer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with internal partners to assist with service needs and coordinate with various teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily Electric Delivery Van business operations as needed.
- Conduct pre-delivery inspections on new vehicles using a documented process.
- Document inspection results and communicate them to team members or supervisors.
- Follow repair procedures efficiently without compromising quality and safety.
- Perform diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections on vehicles.
- Assist with vehicle repairs outside of a service center.
- Conduct road tests to ensure the quality of repairs.
- Perform parts operations, such as ordering, receiving, shipping, and inventory management.
- Stay up-to-date with technical skills and required training.
- Maintain accurate expense reporting and high-quality work efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience:
- HS Diploma or GED preferred; automotive repair school diploma is preferred.
- 1-5 years of experience in an automotive repair environment (pay rate based on years of experience).
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.
- Experience with a work order management system, including repairs documentation.
- Ability to drive non-commercial trucks and trailers preferred.
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and minimum age of 21.
- No driving-related suspensions within the last 3-5 years.
- Fluent English reading and speaking ability.
- Available for a regular schedule of 40 hours a week, including weekends and holidays depending on business need.
