Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data solutions: You’ll design, deploy, and optimize cloud-based data systems in Azure, leveraging Databricks and other Azure services.
- Build end-to-end data pipelines: Collaborate with various teams to create efficient, automated pipelines that integrate, transform, and prepare data for analytics.
- Continuous improvement: Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of the data systems. Contribute to the development of best practices and standards.
- Data quality and reliability: Monitor data quality and ensure solutions are performing at peak efficiency.
- Databricks: Develop data pipelines using Databricks and Databricks SQL to enable seamless data transformation and analytics.
- Programming: Expertise in Python, PySpark, and T-SQL to handle data processing tasks.
- Azure tools: Use Azure DevOps, Azure Synapse, and Power BI for effective management, deployment, and visualization of data solutions.
- Bonus: Familiarity with SSIS and Azure Data Factory is a plus.
- Cloud experience: At least 3 years working with cloud technologies, preferably in Azure.
- Data architecture: Strong understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and modern data architectures.
