What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cost Analyst position at Motion Recruitment?
Our client, a top producer in the utility industry, is seeking a Cost Analyst to join their team in Valparaiso, Indiana!
*This is a 1 year W2 contract with benefits offered!*
As a Cost Analyst, you'll keep track of project costs, process timesheets, and make sure everything lines up with contracts. You'll help review contracts to ensure accurate cost tracking and work with suppliers and the project team to sort out any invoice issues or discrepancies.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain multiple project cost control data files for detailed and summary-level information of projects in various stages of the project’s life cycle
- Ensure the correctness of submitted invoices by referencing the timesheet database and conformed contracts
- Assists in contract review with project staff to facilitate understanding of contract and related unit codes/cost
- Communicate with suppliers, project staff, and other stakeholders to resolve invoice discrepancies or other cost-tracking issues
Requirements:
- Associates degree
- 8 years of experience in cost analysis
- Experience with Project Management
