Cost Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Technician (Intermediate) to support project cost control functions, facilitate accurate cost tracking, and enhance project forecasting and decision-making. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with suppliers, project teams, and various departments to ensure timely, accurate cost reporting and resolution of discrepancies. You will also assist in budgeting, contract review, and the development of project control standards and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders to support accurate cost reporting.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and coordinate cost tracking with suppliers and internal teams.
• Assist in annual budget preparation and reporting.
• Support contract reviews to align costs and unit codes for better tracking.
• Develop and implement project control standards, tools, and preventive actions.
• Generate standard and ad hoc cost reports based on project stakeholder needs.
• Analyze project data to improve forecasting accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in cost tracking, project controls, or financial reporting.
• Strong communication, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in cost management tools and reporting systems is preferred.
