A large enterprise is seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Manager to join the team. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a talented team of engineers, drive automation initiatives, and optimize infrastructure and software delivery processes. This is a hybrid role located in the greater Boston area, but open to any candidates in New England. The salary range is $125k - $170k.
As a DevOps Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a growing DevOps team, overseeing cloud infrastructure, CI / CD pipeline development, and automation processes. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure smooth, reliable, and efficient deployment of applications and services. Your leadership will be key in driving the strategy and execution of DevOps initiatives while mentoring and developing team members.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field in Information Technology.
- 5 years of experience in a DevOps role
- Expertise in maintaining Azure, GCP, or AWS environments
- Proficiency in Python / Java / JavaScript
- Familiarity with developing and implementing CI / CD pipelines
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
- Understanding of Kubernetes and Docker
- Any prior management experience is a plus
