We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Information Technology (IT) to lead and manage our clients IT infrastructure, with a focus on Windows environments, VMware virtualization, and property management systems such as RealPage and Yardi. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, exceptional leadership abilities, and a strategic vision to drive technological advancements that support our business objectives.
You must be local to the North East area of Philadelphia to work onsite 4 days per week.
Key Responsibilities :
Leadership and Strategy :
- Develop and execute the IT strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Serve as the primary liaison between IT and other departments, ensuring effective communication and understanding of technological needs.
Infrastructure Management :
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of Windows-based systems and VMware virtualized environments.Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of IT infrastructure to support business operations.Manage the integration and optimization of property management systems, including RealPage and Yardi, ensuring seamless operation and data integrity.Project Management :
Lead IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement technology solutions that enhance business processes.Security and Compliance :
Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with industry regulations.Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks.Budget and Resource Management :
Develop and manage the IT department's budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.Evaluate and recommend technology investments that align with the company's strategic goals.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Extensive experience with Windows Server environments and VMware virtualization technologies.Proven experience managing and optimizing property management systems, specifically RealPage and Yardi.Strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices.Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successful project delivery.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) are a plus.
