Our client, an industrial technology company, is looking for an HR representative to join their team in Oxford, Ohio! This is a 100% onsite role, so local candidates are required.
** This is a 12-month contract **
Hours: Friday - Sunday from 6am - 6:30pm
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct new hire orientations and facilitate tracking to ensure completion of job-specific training
• Hands-on partnership with Production Supervisor to process production paperwork, conduct investigations, issue attendance disciplines, and research grievances and complaints
• Contribute to efficient operations and maintain labor relations by checking in employees, accurately scheduling employees according to the plant’s collective bargaining agreement
• Report on HR metrics as needed
• Maintains and processes a variety of confidential records including personnel files, employment data, etc.
• Support plant projects and events as needed
Qualifications
• High School Diploma
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills – primarily Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• 1-2 years experience in a Human Resources environment, preferred but not required
• Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred but not required
