Our client, one of the world's largest suppliers of aerospace and defense products, is actively hiring an Incident Manager to join their team in Annapolis, MD.
*This is a 1 year W2 contract with benefits offered!*
In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring network reliability by monitoring systems, identifying and troubleshooting service disruptions, and coordinating with telecom providers to resolve issues.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor network systems and coordinate with telecom providers to initiate and support service restoration efforts.
- Track incident details and maintain information in the incident management tool
- Oversee high availability IP networks, messaging systems, and Air to Ground data communications equipment as well as systems
Required Skills & Experience:
- AA/AS degree with a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience OR HS Diploma/GED with 2 years of experience
- Network Certification
- Experience with HSRP/BGP routing protocols
- Experience troubleshooting Cisco devices
Desired Skills & Experience:
- CCNA certification is a plus
- Working knowledge of Remedy, Netcool, Office 365, and ServiceNow
