Our client, a global leader in offering technology and tools for health, science, and environmental testing, is hiring a Laboratory Technician in West Point, Pennsylvania!
*This is a 6 month W2 contract with benefits offered!*
As a Lab Technician, you will implement, monitor, and provide technical support for customer laboratory IT environments. You would also be supporting the operating system, desktop hardware and peripherals, instrument-controlled software, core desktop applications, and imaging of computers.
Responsibilities:
- Implement, monitor, and provide technical support for customer laboratory IT environments
- Support of the operating system, desktop hardware and peripherals, instrument-controlled software, core desktop applications, and imagining of computers
- Implement Windows-based security measures, including user/group permissions, file/folder access controls, group policies, local security settings, and more
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related fieldOR an Advanced Degree with 5 years of experience
- Experience in a lab environment
- Experience working in GxP facilities or PPE training
- Experience with technologies including Windows, Microsoft Office, networking, remote computing, and backup systems.
