Job Title: Senior Software Developer (.NET)

Location: Boca Raton Florida – Onsite / In office 5 days a week.

Salary: $110k max ideally – Full time

Our client is a leading multimedia and broadcasting company based in Boca Raton, Florida, with additional key offices in New York City and Washington, D.C. Since its founding in the late 90’s, the company has grown to approximately 400 employees and continues to expand its reach across television, online, and print platforms. Known for delivering a wide range of content through various channels, they are currently exploring plans to go public in the near future.

This on-site Senior Software Developer (.NET) position is located in Boca Raton, Florida, and offers the opportunity to work on a team dedicated to building and enhancing scalable web and enterprise applications. The role involves designing, coding, and modifying software using the .NET framework, with an emphasis on secure coding practices. Responsibilities also include collaborating with stakeholders, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting ongoing development efforts. The development team consists of around ten members, including front-end developers, full-stack engineers, and quality assurance specialists.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in the IT field ideally.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in web and enterprise application development (.NET).
• Expertise in .NET Framework 4.x, .NET Core, and ASP.NET/C#.
• Experience in JavaScript, jQuery, React
• Experience in SQL Server and MongoDB
• Experience in Dependency Injection
• Experience with Webform, MVC, Web Services (WCF/REST), and JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery and Ajax.
• Proficiency in working with content management systems.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design, secure coding practices, and the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio and TFS.
• Must be a local candidate for South Florida; this is a Monday-Friday, on-site role.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement individual development tasks, while supporting the team on various projects.
• Follow secure coding standards and provide support for production issues after deployment.
• Document, design, develop, test, and deliver scalable applications.
• Update and enhance existing applications to meet evolving requirements.
• Work closely with team leaders, managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and create functional specifications.
• Advocate for new ideas and make informed technical decisions.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
