What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Architect position at Motion Recruitment?
A highly qualified Network Architect is needed to plan and execute enterprise-level networking systems in a medical setting. The replacement of more than 1,000 Cisco access switches, migrations of core distributions, and the switch to VXLAN-based SD-WAN are just a few of the infrastructure improvements and network modernization that will be the main focus of this position.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and architect network infrastructure tailored for hospital environments.
- Create Visio diagrams to map network equipment and topology.
- Lead large-scale network refresh projects , including core distribution migrations and Cisco switch replacements.
- Develop and implement Cisco-based networking solutions , including Catalyst / Nexus, ACI, ISE, and 9300 series switches .
- Oversee LAN / WAN environments , ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.
- Drive the transition from SD-WAN to VXLAN while optimizing Cisco wireless solutions .
- Configure and manage F5 load balancers for enhanced performance and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data center operations and hospital network infrastructure.
