What are the responsibilities and job description for the Photographer position at Motion Recruitment?
Our client, a marketing company, is looking for a Photographer / Retoucher to join their team onsite in Addison, TX. This role is an 18 month contract.

Responsibilities
Follow instruction on image markups placed by Production, Photographer and Art Directors
Retouch images in accordance with established style guides
Ensure color consistency across all images per product, matching images from different cameras and sets
Experience :
Experience with color correction for exact product matching
A high level of initiative in problem-solving
Ability to partner well with cross-functional team members
Excellent time-management skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in Adobe Suite, (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Bridge) and Capture One Pro
Utilize masking, selections, adjustment layers, custom curves, and layer masks for knocking out backgrounds.
Perform advanced retouching on select images, including but not limited to : compositing, blemish removal on products and skin, special effects, corrections, color-grading, etc.
Understanding of non-destructive editing techniques
Batch Processing, Automation; automating repetitive tasks for efficient image formatting
Able to interpret Packaging Deco files in Adobe Illustrator to composite the file on blank product.
Basic knowledge of Adobe InDesign to gather images for sharing and review of images.
