Platform Engineer / Mid Level / Terraform / Missouri

A regional bank that’s headquartered in Arkansas is currently looking for a Platform Engineer to add to their growing team. This team that you’d be joining is responsible for standardizing the platforms that are consumed by other teams at the company. This will involve building Terraform modules for reusable infrastructure automation, management of their Kubernetes environment, and creation of Gitlab pipelines for automated deployments. You will also help manage their HashiCorp Vault instance, used for secrets management. While this person can work remotely, they prefer candidates living in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, or Kansas.

This is a great opportunity to join a team with a lot of high impact work on the horizon. The company is in the very early stages of migrating to GCP, and they have a lot of exciting work coming in regard to modernizing their overall tech stack and practices.

Contract Duration: 6 – 12 Months

Required Skills & Experience

• 3 years in a Platform, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering focused position
• Experience with cloud administration in either AWS or GCP (GCP preferred)
• Strong experience working with Terraform for infrastructure automation
• Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab preferred)
• Scripting experience in either Bash or Python
• Knowledge of Kubernetes container orchestration
• Knowledge of secrets management
