- Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Collaborate with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components with other subsystems.
- Drive the development of product specifications, design reviews, and detailed engineering documentation.
- Identify and solve complex engineering problems related to mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Oversee the testing and validation of mechanical components to ensure they meet performance, durability, and safety standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in robotics, automation, and manufacturing technologies.
- A Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on robotics or automation systems.
- Proven experience in leading mechanical design projects from concept through to production.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar) for 3D modeling and design.
- Deep understanding of materials science, structural analysis, and thermodynamics as they relate to robotics.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping, fabrication, and assembly of mechanical systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to approach challenges creatively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in startup environments and an entrepreneurial mindset is a plus.
