A leading supplier of high quality industrial fire pits, specialization in custom metal fabrication is looking for a Product Manager to drive the development and execution of their product line in their HQ located in the southwest suburbs of Chicago.
As a Product Manager, you will own the entire lifecycle of our fire pit products—from ideation through design, fabrication, and market launch. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, sales, and marketing, to define and execute the product roadmap. This role requires a deep understanding of metal fabrication, manufacturing processes, and customer needs to ensure our fire pits remain innovative, durable, and market-leading.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3-7 years of experience in product management, preferably in metal fabrication, industrial design, or a related manufacturing field.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, metalworking, and materials (e.g., steel, aluminum, cast iron).
- Experience working with CAD software and technical drawings is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive product development from concept to market.
- Strong project management skills with experience managing budgets, timelines, and resources.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts into business insights.
- Passion for craftsmanship, industrial design, and outdoor living products is a plus.
