Job Title: Reporting Analyst with Mortgage Experience (Hybrid)
Job Type: Contract (12 Months) | Strong Possibility of Extension or Full-time Conversion
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)
Overview:
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Reporting Analyst to support structured finance operations. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside top industry professionals, leveraging advanced data analytics, automation, and reconciliation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with setup and ongoing support for bank loans, warehouse, and repo facility reconciliation.
- Perform monthly and quarterly ABS and CLO processing and develop automation solutions.
- Conduct cash and loan transaction account reconciliation and automate reporting processes.
- Review daily reconciliation reports and position statements for accuracy.
- Document requirements, use cases, and test data for reporting automation.
- Develop Python-based reconciliation and validation tools for structured finance transactions.
- Work closely with finance and technology teams to enhance data accuracy and efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros).
- Proficiency in SQL & Python for data manipulation and automation.
- Strong understanding of cash-flow modeling for securitized products.
- Experience with bank loan reconciliation, repo facilities, and position reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
- Experience in ABS, CLO, CMBS, RMBS, or other structured finance products.
- Proficiency in VBA, Access, or ETL tools for data automation.
- Familiarity with database management and process optimization.
